Written on the stationery of the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Signed "Gala et Dalí," but entirely written in Gala Dalí's hand.
Acquired with two other letters to James Thrall Soby and a signed card, cataloged separately as MA 23471.2-4.

Thanking him for a telegram; promising to send dimensions and photographs of paintings tomorrow, in preparation for an exhibition of Dalí's work at the Museum of Modern Art; mentioning a recent party at the Hotel del Monte (a reference to the "Surrealistic Night in an Enchanted Forest" party organized by Dalí); referring to the successful opening of an "Exposition de Dalí" (a traveling exhibition organized by Julien Levy that had just opened in Los Angeles); saying that they will be returning to New York on the first or second of October and look forward to seeing him there.
