Summary
Concerning financial and legal transactions involved in arranging for the reinterment of the body of her brother (George Caldwell) and sister, discussing conflicts she has had with "William" and complaining of his reluctance to forward money owed to her; discussing difficulties Rose Blaze de Bury has encountered collecting money owed to her from her properties (a reference to properties left to her by Henrietta Caldwell's sister, Anne Dunbar) and her dealings with the (Irish) land agent (Nicholas) Ellis; expressing her apprehension at Henri Blaze de Bury's plans to travel to Germany and her fears that the expense and effort will end in disappointment ("the B- cause will not succeed most people assert here - I think the best chances Henri has in future of prosperity must be derived from his family, & by living quietly under the powers that be.").
