Summary
Thanking him for his letter sent from Portugal Street and asking him to acquire a copy of a brochure that Henri mentioned and that he was not aware of but that interests him. Its content and the information it includes "about the authorship" will determine a decision he has to make, about which he will inform Henri. He thinks that if the name of the author is false, complaints will soon be heard. He adds that Henri made some choice observations about an upcoming change of scenery "in the wings"[for a theatrical production? About politics?] and that he is waiting to read about them in the newspaper. He notes that Henri ended his letter with reasoning that he, too, is forced to adopt. They only confirm what Henri had already written to him. There is vague talk about the political situation in Italy. Concluding with a request to send his regards to Lord Brougham.
