Summary
Saying "Herewith a little book which should interest you : if only as the last salvage from the wreck of the N.R. To-morrow I shall send you the Catalogue. It is, I find, a special copy : with the plates 'en double' and a caricature to introduce the Essay on Romanticism. It was a whim of 'One of the [illegible]' to prepare such an edition for those lenders who had been civil to him. For the ordinary edition, it has occurred to me that you might hear of it of George P. Johnstone, 35 George St., Edinburgh. He is a very good bookseller, & knows this publication well. Forgive the handwriting. I am absurdly well, but weak as a kitten still. There is no hurry about the Catalogue. We go hence on Saturday & we shan't return for at least a fortnight.
