Summary
Writing from Great Malvern and expressing her hope that Madame de Bury will visit her there; mentioning her visit to Ireland, from which she has just returned, and her stay at Killyleagh Castle, and noting that she left "the pair" (a probably reference to Archibald Rowan Hamilton and his wife Catherine Anne, née Caldwell) at Killyleagh, "as well cheerful as the unwished for advent of a seventh small Hamilton enables them to be", noting that the expected birth has prevented "Cath" from accompanying her to England as planned, and that Harriot and Eleanor have come "for the expected arrival of the first Caldwell of a new generation ... expected before Xmas."; saying that "poor Charles" has been ill" and that she reserves "all accounts of Paddy Land" until they meet.
