Enclosing a catalogue with his own etchings signed (no longer with the letter); mentioning that he has not made any etchings for the past three years; enclosing three proofs and four prints (also no longer with the letter), the latter of which he bought from "a gentleman who was once a collector, but is now in very reduced circumstances;" asking Jordan for his opinion on their value, "and also whether the two reputed Rembrandts are genuine?"; saying that he is leaving for Boston on Friday, so he would appreciate Jordan returning the prints by Thursday.
