Summary
Saying "I have safely received & will speedily report upon Mrs. Stevenson's MS. I am heartily glad to congratulate you upon the accomplished feat. I am sure that your long struggle deserved success and I hope that you will get as much as you deserve - nay, I should not object to a trifle more - but at present I concede that you should still have a considerable balance to your credit in the hands of the mysterious "illegible" as regulates our affairs. Anyhow I wish you all favourable success in your new position."
