Saying "A friend of mine, a Mr. Henry James, who is now in England is a contributor to the Atlantic. He is publishing a story in it at this moment. I will ask him to look at your MS & forward it or otherwise as he thinks fit. His address is / Henry James / 3 Bolton Street / Piccadilly. If you can get a hold of journalism, I strongly recommend it from the pecuniary point of view. It is absorbing & sometimes [illegible]l but it is the best stepping stone to other literary efforts."
