Summary
Concerning her brother Henry's newborn baby with his wife Eleanor, her sister-in-law's plans to travel to Hertfordshire and return for the christening feast, stating that her sister Mary and "Mrs. Bulmer" are to be the child's godmothers and Sir William Abdy and Col. Edward Bulwer (Eleanor's brother) to be her godfathers, and that they have given her the name "Mary Elizabeth Abdy"; noting that her brother William is thinking of going to Paris the spring; saying that she sent "the political part of your letter" to Lord Fortescue and commenting on England's current "truce" with France; relating news of friends and acquaintances.
