Expressing her regrets at hearing that Madame de Bury is in poor health and reccommending that she try hydropathy for her complaints; remarking that everyone seems to be ill and attributing this to the change in temperature and stormy weather; relating news of friends and family, including plans to travel to Dublin with her brother Charles; discussing arrangements to have newspapers sent to her on a regular basis from England; saying that she is reading (George Eliot's) Adam Bede and reccommending it to Madame de Bury; assuring her that they are always pleased to see her and that she is always welcome at Audley Square.
