Regarding financial transactions on her behalf, complaining that she has not conveniently arranged to have her agents pay their checks directly into his account, complaining that she has sent no political news, commenting on English politics and stating that Lord Derby will be defeated on the Reform bill and wondering if the ministry will be dissolved; reporting that "Bulwer's speech gave great offence, it was a special plea to the shopkeepers & insolently ignoring the 'Blouses'", and listing those politicians who remain to be heard; remarking that he never hears from his sister "so I can give you no news", and that Mrs Wyndham goes to Paris next and has a terrible cold.
