Summary
Saying "I have been ill ever since I arrived - Influenza of a most venomous & altogether intolerable sort - I have seen no one - nothing - but have been abject in bed. I leave on Friday - but hope...to see the Rossetti on Thursday morning. Can you send me the ticket? I have taken a little doll's house here in town in which we propose to play at Marionettes for 6 weeks from the 6th of April - You & Mrs. Henley must often come & join in the game... I fear I shall not see you now - I have not yet been out & I have had to give up Volumnia on Saturday."
