Summary
Sending a recipe to Mrs. Henley for the mincemeat she served them when they visited; saying she has been worried about her godson but happy that her son Frewen has expressed an interest in being confirmed; commenting on plays and books and asking "So you don't like "Sunrise"? How faithless of you. When we had agreed about so many books of late, that I thought we should now agree always. I am reading aloud some Addison to the boys...There is style! All the leisure of the world sweetly flowing over his page. And I tried to read out a story by 'Ouida" - but the boys struck & would not have it - Write me soon."
