Expressing his concern at reports that she has been ill; complaining of the weather at Cannes and mentioning Madame de Bury's plan to go to Brougham, where they expect to see her at the end of July; detailing their immediate plans to go to Paris, but noting that "a congestion of the lung" will make their movements "in some measure dependent upon the acts of the weather"; mentioning an operation to take place in the summer, asking if she can help them find a house in Paris, and specifying the number of rooms they will need.
