Summary
Saying "I have an idea of playing "Brodie" on my Saturday night at Birkenhead (that is to-morrow three weeks) if you fall in with my views. My object is, as a rehearsal, to try one or two people in important parts, and also to see how the posters look on walls for alterations. It will cost me about £10 and it will be for our mutual benefit. do you feel inclined to give me the play free for that night; if you don't it wouldn't be worth my while doing it. Let me know per return."
