Summary
Saying "Thanks for 'Daily News' cutting. I am scouring the country for talent to cast the "Deacon" in a perfect manner to give it a fair trial in Scotland. Many engagements in negotiation & all shall be clenched as soon as you send me a poster & litho. I have as much faith in these - from a pecuniary point - as in the finest play ever written. When I see these, I will be in possession of a 'drawing' power, and a 'booking' power; and the more money I see in them the more expense I shall go to in engaging Company. I have got nearly every one in my eye & all your idea theoretically, except that vile G. Smith Hesquire."
