Summary
Concerning a legal matter related to Nutt's edition of Henley's "Voluntaries"; saying "My idea is that without litigation it might not be possible to tell the validity of Mr. Nutt's claims as I am supposing he has not stated definitely on what these claims are based. Probably in expressions in private letters. If you do know what they amount to, counsel's opinion could be got;" adding that he does not think litigation is advisable but that there are steps that "...have to be taken for the sale of the edition;" offering to try to meet with Nutt even though he does not know him.
