Summary
Saying he is sorry to hear Mrs. Henley is not well; saying he will go to the performance of "Beau Austin" and "Macaire" and hopes to get to see him soon; adding "I have just finished a play but books are best & I turn to them with [illegible]. I wish you cd both come to the cottage in summer. I hope Nicholson's picture will be good...I thought your poem on the Queen was a big thing. You are a bit of a King yourself. I feel it more as the years go by and [illegible] the proper kind of king to be."
