Summary
Thanking her for her kindness to her son during his recent stay in Paris and asking if Madame Blaze de Bury intended to visit her "some time this month"; suggesting that they might go to London together; noting that the carnival is in progress and the court gone to Naples and admitting that she will be glad when her time in Italy is over; providing directions for sending some parcels to herself and to the Florence and Paris embassys; complaining of the unusually cold weather and writing that "My boy is appointed to this mission at present, if Ld. Malmesbury does not change his plans after his position[?] at the Foreign Office"; discussing news of various mutual acquaintances and stating that she is "heartily sick" of Florence.
