Concerning the play "Beau Austin" co-authored by Henley and R. L. Stevenson; saying "I send you "Beau Austin", returned from India. My brother who though not a 'littery gent' is a man who knows good work when he sees it is delighted with it 'I'd give a good deal' he says 'to see the piece on the stage with Delaunay (& no one else) as Austin. Indeed the piece ought to have been written in French, look at it how you will'."
