Writing of the death of her son, saying that she is expecting his widow to return in the spring, noting that the girls in her family are "growing hugely", and that she wished to take the eldest to Paris but that her parents "cannot make up their minds"; writing that they have got a governess and that she is "the most superb pianist", but that that they want a singing master; informing her that "Wilkinson" is anxious to find a "good clean French master" and asking for Madame Blaze de Bury's assistance in the matter; relating news and gossip of mutual acquaintances.
