Writing "Tho' I am not always what Glenham calls, 'The shallow fool of coward conscience' yet I have something in my bosom, a kind of feeling of Propriety or Impropriety where I am the veriest coward on earth. -- My horrid sin of this kind against you has compleatly [sic] gagged me that I can't write to. or approach you, were it to redeem me from perdition"; adding that he will call at Dunlop-house on Wednesday or Thursday.
