Saying that her verses have given his "spirits a fillip for one day"; writing that he has a long letter to Dr. Moore ready to put into the mail that is on a subject that she has gotten him interested in, so if she wants, there are 20 pages of an epistle she can read; writing that he does not have a copy of Dr. Moore's letter that he can send to her; mentioning that he is going to Edinburgh tomorrow morning by way of Paisley and Glasgow; sending his respectful compliments to Lady Wallace, Miss Logan, the Major, and the rest of her family.
