Summary
Possibly a fragment. Writing about their travels throughout England. Recalling a concert she attended and commenting on the upcoming presentation of a gift to "the Waterloo Duke." Writing about a visit from the Blair family. Commenting on the Hall family's extravagant spending and financial difficulties. Reporting that "my Billy Man is quite well" (referring to William Makepeace Thackeray). Wondering when she will see Mary (the orphaned daughter of Harriet Graham) and whether Charlotte is married yet, as they are expecting her to marry Mr. Halliday.
