Summary
Thanking him for sending Susanne G. Trautwein's Die schöne Richterin and agreeing provisionally to translate it for a fee of fifty pounds, if, after reading it, she finds that she likes it; writing, as regards the schedule, that "[i]t is good of you to say you will wait until I have finished my book;" adding that if he finds that her work delays the project too long, then "you must retrieve the German book & let me do something of the sort for you at a later date when I can set to work at once."
