Notes
The address "51 Ormond Street" is given at the top of the letter along with the note "going out of town tomorrow." Other parts of the address are illegible. Wilberforce was most likely writing from London.
Though Wilberforce does not list a year of writing, he must have written the letter after 1808, when he purchased Gore House in Kensington Gore.

Passing along a message from his wife Barbara inviting "the younger part of yr family to settle for a while in Kens[ingto]n Gore;" describing the attractions of Kensington Gardens; adding that they need to paint their veranda but the task can wait, "& really it wo'd render ye place additionally valuable to have it contribute to yr Benefit or Comfort or those of yr family."
