Summary
Thanking Teignmouth for his kind letter and explaining that he had intended to call on him, but various interruptions prevented him from doing so; saying that they are now about to set off for Marden Park, to "take possession, select & allot Rooms," and so he must send his congratulations in writing; sending his blessings for the union (most likely the marriage of their daughter Anna Maria Shore to Thomas Noel Hill, also referred to in the letter that follows this one, dated 1821 July 30) and wishing them "a large measure of domestic Happiness, the best of this World's Blessings & one which has no small Influence on ye Condition of ye parties in ye next."
