Summary
Asking if he can help her get a room at the Lord Jeffrey in Amherst for June 17, 18, and 19th since she will be up there to receive a degree from Smith and to see her niece, Virginia, graduate; acknowledging that he and Harriet would offer her hospitality for this occasion, but she doesn't stay with friends and receive a degree at the same time, plus Miss Lewis will be with her; adding that if he can't get two rooms at the Lord Jeffrey, then the hotel in Springfield will suffice, but she prefers the Lord Jeffrey so she can see friends.
