Summary
Discussing her difficult time at Mesa Verde in Colorado; writing that Mr. G. send her an advance copy of her book (The song of the lark) with the worst proof-reading she has ever seen, which is mostly her fault, but also the Riverside Press; saying that a proofreader should have caught the mistakes, but she learned her lesson and will never rush a book again; commenting that Mr. Greenslet's work is satisfactory, but the carelessness was her; hoping to show Sergeant photographs from the Southwest; asking if she has seen Robert Frost's A boy's will, which she likes better than North of Boston.
