Reporting that she is feeling strong. Recalling discussions with other women about her pregnancy and reporting that Mrs. Farrington has given birth to a son. Complaining that they are unable to use the Company's cattle, so travel is difficult. Writing that she and Alexander definitely want to move back to England, but are unable to afford it at present. Reporting that the Kennedys have left Nasirabad and that Mrs. Drysdale "just parted ways with her two eldest daughters," one of whom had a great affection for Maria.
