Summary
Saying that the trip was worthwhile after all, once they got to the mountains; responding that they go back to Pittsburgh on September 25th; adding that she doesn't think she can join Sergeant in the country, but might be able to spend a few days with her since she has weddings and other things breaking up her schedule; mentioning that the Opera Singer article was finished before she left Pittsburgh, but she has to write when she returns; stating that Fremstad invited her up to a camp which she is going to pass up because "In the safe path of civilization I'm not afraid of her, but I decline to risk her uncertain temper in the Wilds of Maine. I also decline to take the risk of boring her--for after all the only thing she really cares about is music"; thanking Sergeant for writing her about what the Flexners said about "Alexander."
