Stating that the Outlook people do not know when they can publish the second article and giving advice on how to handle the situation; asking if she could correct the French version of O pioneers and discusses Sergeant's opinion on it; adding that Mr. Greenslet was "delightfully enthusiastic" about the story and is rushing to type it, but she would still like to do something different; commenting that she went up to see Fremstad last week and would love to write what goes on in her mind; adding that Fremstad sang Kundry in Parsifal yesterday and looked exhausted; mentioning that Miss McClung has been with her the last three weeks and sends her regards; thanking Sergeant for reading, liking, and wanting her story; suggesting she read Mérimée's "Lettres a une inconnue."
