Summary
Mentioning how so much has happened since she received her last letter; getting away from New York was difficult because Mr. McClure arrived and sought her out several days before she left, and when she left she found that Miss McClung's mother had a stroke and updates her on the state of her health; updating her on her (Cather's) health; hesitating to make plans to see her in Arizona until she sees what happens with McClung's mother and seeing her own mother in Arizona; adding that she doesn't know anything about Winslow, Arizona, where her brother (Douglass) lives or how long she will be there, but she will be going in April; inviting her to take the chance and visit her in Arizona despite her not having set plans.
