Written on letterhead stationery, with matching envelope, printed "Pocono Manor Inn / Pocono Manor, P. O., PA."
Envelope, postmarked and stamped, addressed to "Mrs Elizabeth Vermorcken / Margaret Morrison School / Carnegie Technical School, / Schenley Park / Pittsburgh / Pa."
Writing that she can hardly do any writing for fending off people inviting her to speak; describing how D.H. Lawrence and wife have been there and were marvelous company; stating that she expects to go home in a few days; informing her that there are so few people at the inn, she hasn't been bothered by them at all; responding that she appreciates the invitation to visit, but that is something she just doesn't do; (in postscript) adding that Ethel Litchfield can tell her why and that she does visit Mary Jewett in Maine occasionally, but that's really the only person.
Written during a few days of holiday following a visit of D. H. Lawrence and his wife to New York, and explaining her policy of never "visiting."
