Summary
Informing him that his friend who "...furnished us with some sketches of Woodland Scenery for vignettes for Robin Hood has recently died" and asking if he might have "...kept any of the originals from which the wood engravings were made. If you fortunately have, and you could send them to me, I should esteem it a great favour & so would his Relations, who are anxiously enquiring after every Relic they can find. I hope you are well in health, & prosperous in your avocations. I am thank God better than an Octogenarian could expect at such an advanced age, & I find occupation of the mind a wonderful preservation of the Body."
