Summary
Saying she is thinking of them and adding "The last 3 weeks I have been absorbed with my beloved friends the Mount Temples - that wonderful union of 37 years seemed on the eve of its sundering - but he has been restored in a measure - tho' we rejoice with trembling...When shall our joy be full, as Père Gratry said - only here, if perhaps a way might be opened for free conscious union with those who are within the veil - I trust you have not had the grey frowning sky with bitter cold that for 6 weeks almost without a solitary gleam we have had - Our political prospect has been the same - if the revolution breaks out I will betake myself to dear America - I know I s'd have a welcome - & how sweet it w'd be to sit down by your side hand in hand - & let the unspeakable things flow from heart to heart! Embracing you both again & again & committing you to the upholding & uniting love of God."
