Summary
Complaining that Alexander has not received the raise he was promised (as described in the previous letter), but in fact "this days dawk has reduced them 150 by taking away the Guide & Hinarrah allowance." Expressing her anger at the process by which this was done and lamenting that "Just as we had began to hope our pecuniary difficulties were at an end we are once more exposed to them, and who can tell when it will stop."
