Summary
Asking for some fluid caustic; saying "I got it last year this time however I get some stuff which is perfectly different & useless for my purpose & it is incredible to my mind that Mrs. Roberts sh'd not know this most simple remedy for a certain complaint. It is now a week that I am much in need of it and I cannot get it - I therefore write to beg you kindly to give an order for it, to have it sent me without further delay. We dine out otherwise I sh'ld have asked you to spend the evening here & I fear I shall not find you at home in the afternoon, when I have to be in town."
