Summary
Asking if he would send her Monod's "Marie Magdeleine" so that she could lend it to a friend; adding "I have been spending a busy, & on the whole very pleasant summer, moving about with my brother Alan, who I hope is a little better for the changes we have made, & greatly occupied with my 'Two Friends; which is now in the Press - I have also a very interesting commission to edit a hymn-book from the German - which will be both work & play & something at the same time better than [illegible]."
