Summary
Concerning a gift of a Robert Graves letter; saying "Years ago, I gave to the Morgan a sheaf of Graves manuscript poems - a sequence of the same poem as it approached it [sic] final state. I've just had this really comical-looking letter from Robert (MA 4483.1), and it occurred to me that it is so characteristic of him and so amusing in itself as a specimen of 'writer at work' that the Morgan might want it. If you do, say so, and I'll send along the original. Otherwise, it will go to the Kate Bowen Gill Autograph Letter Archives, which may well end up in the Morgan long after I (and even you) are dead. (Kate is nineteen.)"
