Summary
Commenting on his age, his poetry, his olive harvest and new work; referring to a visit from Lassalle, saying that in his 77th year is bald spot is sprouting hair, and commenting on his poetry saying "American leading newspapers have decided that I'm the greatest love poet of the century; well, there's not much competition, is there? Have three plays on the way to the stage including (I am promised) my Iliad play at the John Kennedy Memorial Theatre at Washington. And a Poems 1970-1972; for the Muse is still what a muse should be and owes her life to the charm I gave her mother in 1949 against further miscarriages. She had had five. My prescience."
