Written on the letterhead of "The Committee for the Survey of the Memorials of Greater London."
Part of a collection of two autograph letters signed and one typed letter signed from Ernest Godman to Colonel Prideaux concerning the monograph on the Stepney Church. See also MA 23099.1 and MA 23099.3. Also housed with a one-page manuscript, in Prideaux's hand, titled "Stepney Church Notes" and a cover page, dated "12:VII:1900" on the letterhead of "The Committee for the Survey of the Memorials of Greater London" saying "2 Reports enclosed. / with the Secretary's compliments." Godman served as Secretary of the Committee.
The Morgan also holds a letter from Prideaux to Godman regarding this monograph, dated 1904 November 8 (MA 23556).

Summary
Sending him "a copy of the Sixth Monograph on the Church of S. Dunstan, Stepney, to which you are entitled as an honorary member of the Survey Committee" and asking him to send the subscription fee of one guinea for the present year; adding, in an autograph postscript, "I have been wanting to send you a copy of the 'Essex" book circular for some time : but I am still limited in my output of work. The book is just published now, and looks well. I have in my spare moments a second vol. in hand of the same series."
