Expressing this thanks in receiving the books from Mellor and asking where his accounts stand; informing him that he is getting another book ready that he will be offering to him in May or June; describing how he has enough material for 1.5 books, but is cutting a lot of material that is not worth reprinting; announcing the title as The corridor which will be the same length as Fighting terms; saying that he has the material ready, but wants to wait a few months to revise some of the poems, put them in the order he wants for the book, and get some recent ones printed in magazines; adding that Robert Conquest contacted him about adding some of his poems from Fighting terms to an anthology and asks about acknowledgment and payment; discussing the difficulties Mellor and Karl [Miller] have had with the anthology; announcing that he will be staying in the country [U.S.] for another year, but will be returning to Europe in 1956.
