Summary
Asking Mellor for Don Hall's address and if he has heard from him since he left; writing that he presumes his poems will be out in the new year or not at all; inquiring if he can send the poems Mellor isn't using for the book to the "PEN thing for which contributors musn't appeared in book form"; saying that he saw John Wain the other day and he said Gunn has 4 poems on the next First Reading, two of them ("For a birthday" and "A kind of ethics") Mellor has; discussing what can be included in the acknowledgements, once he sees where his poems are printed prior to the publication; adding that he was given a traveling scholarship for next year, so he will be away from England for 6 months starting in November.
