Saying that he is enclosing 32 poems, but has 50 or so available, but he doesn't think the others are worth reprinting; adding that if Mellor decides to print a book of the poems, it would be too many, since many of them are 2 pages in length; writing that he included a list of the poems, putting in brackets the names of those he would consider dropping, but says Mellor can ignore the suggestions as well; explaining that he has put them in order which makes sense, by groups, "each of which is connected to the next so that they form a sort of sequence (but I start and finish with two of the more sensational): and I call the whole 'Fighting terms!' (This sounds like a conundrum!)"; showing his appreciation for Mellor suggesting the possibility of printing a collection.
