Summary
Chastising her, at length, for not having written to him in six months despite his having written to her and given her the addresses to which she should direct her letters to him; saying that he and Mary originally planned to return to England in March for her confinement but now they have decided to stay in Switzerland and perhaps return to England in September; saying how much he wishes she might consider coming to visit them in the summer; saying he has been house-hunting and thinks he has found a suitable place near the Lake; relating news of mutual friends and of the English and Europeans he has met and come to know; saying he hopes to hear from her and sends his love and Mary's to her and to Mrs. Fitzherbert.
