Detached address leaf with seal and postmark "Colnbrook June ninth 1830 / Honble Mrs. Damer / Upper Grosvenor St / London / Durham."

The letter is undated however a penciled notation at the top of the letter dates it to June 9, 1830 and a detached address leaf that was separate from the letter also carries that date and place of writing.
George IV died June 26, 1830.

Summary
Reporting on the condition of the King after a visit to Windsor; saying he will likely come home that evening but in a sentence following signed with initials which are unclear, "Damer has made himself so agreable we cannot spare him till Friday; Damer adding "I send you all the nonsense scrawl - They will not hear of my going away before then - but I shall get away tomorrow evening - It has been raining all day...I was quite disappointed at not hearing from you today;" concluding with a sentence signed with initials which are unclear that Damer has consented to stay until Friday evening."
