Concerning a time to call on her; saying "There appears to be a spell tending to prevent our meeting, both Sunday & yesterday - I fully intended to call upon you, but each evening I was kept till past ten oclock at the Horse Guards by unavoidable Business and this day I am under the necessity of attending a debate in the House of Lords."
