It is uncertain whether this letter is in the autograph of the Duke of Kent.

The year of writing is not provided however the inventory of the collections suggests it is 1811.

Summary
Inviting her to visit Castle Hill Lodge on the 29th; saying "...this dear Spot is in great Beauty just now and that if you should wish to see it, Sunday next the 29th is the only day on which I foresee that for some time there is a certainty of its being quite at liberty for your wandering over it : but if on that day you would like with any friends to see your once favorite retreat, I will direct both the Houndkeeper and Gardener to attend you at any hour til sunset which you may prefer;" adding, in a postscript, "Pray excuse all blunders, as I write in a hurry just as I am setting off for the House of Lords."
