Saying that he just heard that she was in Town and would like to call on her the following day at 12 "...to have half an hours chat with you. I am aware that the hour is full early, but as I but seldom come to Town, and must meet my lawyer at 1 at Kensington, I hope you will admit me. Don't give yourself the trouble of answering this, as I mean at all events to take my chance of calling at your door."
